Star Wars: Battlefront 2

The follow on to DICE's Star Wars: Battlefront will be released on November 17, 2017.

It looks good but again no public dedicated servers but EA Games runs servers. The main improvement they have made is there is a single player campaign now!
I played the first Star Wars: Battlefront it was a good game until the hackers took over the multiplayer and there was no campaign.
I am unsure if I am going to buy this game yet.

Do you have any more thoughts or info on SWBF2, JD?

Oh, also, if you get the original BF2 through Steam, Disney reactivated servers for it, it's doing really, really well. The game from the old disc won't work, but I got it on the cheap for 3 bucks. It's really fun, reminds me of the old days of gaming online.

Well here is my thoughts of the New SWBF 2 game and also what I am hearing.

I hear the game is really good and has a good campaign but there is concern as to when EA Games will turn on micro transactions in the game. It is hard to acquire heroes due to how many points you need to get them. Word is hackers are starting to show up in games and are causing issues. My thoughts are very clear on this game or any other game that does not have dedicated server files so you can rent a server and control the game play, I won't buy it or support the game. 60 dollars for the base game and more money if you want some additional content is ridiculous.

As far as the old SWBF 2 game, I don't know of any server provider offering servers for the game. I probably would not rent one anyhow as I have just recently added Spearhead again and not looking to expand anymore at this point.

The game to keep an eye on is Battalion 1944. It will have dedicated server files and is based on old school game play. No ranking up crap or earning perks or other goodies.
