Month of September Trivia Questions

Hello everybody! I took off the month of August but since I did that here are the month of September's trivia question. You may appreciate the extra week! Good luck.

1. This battle is not ever mentioned regularly when talking about the Revolutionary War and as matter of fact there are no official memorials or battlefield to honor the battle. Name the bloodiest and biggest battle of the American Revolutionary War?

2. Who was the oldest person to land on Omaha Beach (second wave) during D-Day and was very important to them getting off the beach and went on to command a division at the Battle of The Bulge?

3. What were the only army formations to be formed in the Pacific War Theater of WW2?

4. Who commanded each of those armies in WW2?

2. Major General Norman Cota was 51 years old.

3. 6th Army, 8th Army and 10th army. 6th Army was first deployed for the New Guinea campaign and deployed for Philippines Campaign. 8th Army was deployed for the Philippines Campaign. 10th Army was deployed for the Okinawa Campaign.

4. 6th Army – General Walter Krueger, 8th Army - General Robert Eichelberger and 10th Army - General Simon Bolivar Buckner Jr
