Hello everybody! Here are the questions for January.

1. Name the military campaign in WW2 that Hitler was prepared to pull back because he thought it was strategically unimportant to hold the area.

2. Name the Field Marshall that convinced Hitler not to pull back and hold the territory in question No.1.

3. Name the only Marine Division in WW2 to ever be under General MacAuthor's command for Operations in WW2.

4. Name the Battle/Invasion this division conducted under General MacAuthor's command.

Well I see nobody took a crack at these. Here are the answers.

1. Italian Campaign - Hitler figured the Italians were going to surrender and wanted to pull back and conserve divisions. He wanted to establish a defence line in northern Italy.

2. Albert Kesselring - He talked Hitler into not pulling back and that it would tie down a lot of Allied Divisions and also could be done by conserving resources for other fronts.
